Vintage Model 117B Special Scintillator Re-Build Works! Antique PRI Geiger

This is a Precision Radiation Instruments, Inc. (also known as PRI), Model 117B Special Scintillator.  This unit is in good working condition, and is guaranteed to arrive to you in working condition.  It was re-built for the previous owner about 15 years ago and has been dry stored with very little use since. The re-build included recharging the Sodium Iodide crystal, replacement of internal electronic components and installation of a battery converter in order to do away with the high voltage "B" batteries that this unit used to require.  It was converted to run on 4- C Cell batteries and 3-D cell batteries. Also included is the original Owner's Manual and a booklet from PRI which talks about how to use a Scintillator.  Note that the original PRI check source disc (black disc) is present as well.  This has been dry stored in my climate controlled house for the last 15 years.  This unit is clean on the inside, just like you would hope to find them (As a side note, I would not buy one of these units if the seller doesn't show you the inside, many of these are a rusty mess inside from batteries being left in them and leaking).  No DOA's - Guaranteed!
This is probably the nicest looking one of these on E-Bay and certainly the only one guaranteed to work when you get it home.  You probably won't see another one of these in working condition anytime soon.
