Planting instruction:
Winter Honeysuckle need at least 1-3 months cold Stratification. You can do this by mixing the seeds with moist ( not wet ) medium, then put them in the fridge for 30 - 90 days. Soak them in warm for 24 hours after Stratification. This will speed up the germination process.
Fill each compartment of a seed tray three-fourths full of an all-purpose potting soil mix. Poke a 1-inch-deep hole in the soil in each compartment with a pencil.
Insert one Winter honeysuckle seed into each hole. Add additional soil to each seed tray compartment until the Winter honeysuckle seeds are no longer visible.
Water the soil until it is thoroughly wet and water runs out of the bottom of the tray.
Place the seed tray in a location that maintains a temperature of at least 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Add additional water as needed to prevent the soil from drying out until the seeds germinate.
Germination will take 2 - 6 weeks.
