I got tired of paying several dollars every week to 10 days on wheat grass for my cats, so I decided to grow my own. After some experimentation, I figured out a method that's cheap and easy. All you have to do is add water, and in about 6-8 days, you will have a nice little pot of wheat grass that will last over a week without sunlight or longer with sun.Included are 8 pots of pre-measured organic winter wheat with an organic potting soil. Simply place the pot in a shallow dish and add water to the dish. Drizzle a little water directly on the seeds, but be careful not to dislodge the seeds too much. Add a little more water every day until the seeds start to sprout (2-3 days) then just keep things moist. Avoid over watering to reduce the growth of mold, but it's not usual to get a bit. I usually start a new pot 3-4 days after I put the previous pot down.
