FRED HARVEY ERA? SIGNED STERLING & TURQUOISE
    "PINWHEEL" PIN BROOCH
I can't be certain this pin/brooch is from the Fred Harvey era but it has many of the characteristics of other brooches and jewelry from that era. The seller I purchased it from had it listed as an old pawn piece by Herman Lee. While it is hallmarked with an "H" as many Herman Lee pieces are, again, I'm not sure that squares with it being a Fred Harvey piece. In either case, it is a vintage Native American made piece with great detailing (check out the detail striping and stamping on the bar and the pinwheels or scrolling are very neatly done) and hallmarked by the maker (you'll need a loupe to see the H hallmark on the center of the piece. I wasn't able to photograph it). It would look great on a lapel or scarf. Great design.
