    Description

    ERODIUM MANESCAVI, HERON'S BILL
    This is a beautiful, clump-forming perennial with pinnate, toothed, hairy, mid-green basal leaves to 20 cm long. Showy clusters of 3 cm wide, rounded magenta-red, five petalled flowers have dark spots on the upper petals and are born in great profusion on long thin stems from early summer to early autumn. The blossoms have a delicate fragrance. Native to the Pyrenees. It requires low maintenance. Flowers first year from sowing. Excellent in front of the border or rocky garden. Ideal container plant. It has gained the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit (AGM).
