I will lower the price once I have the materials in hand. The reason I raised the price is so I did not have to end the listing and lose the views and watchers. I made my own small furnace to melt my scrap silver. I tried several different size containers and many different materials. I finally settled on what you see in the pictures. I quickly and easily melt gold and silver with this furnace.
I will build you one with this listing purchase. It will look like mine in the pictures, but it may have differences, as I use different cans or color of heat materiel
Once you purchase, I will build and ship within 5 business days.
The entire furnace is contained within a large metal can with a lid. Looks kind of like a paint can sitting on your shelf. Blends in!
The interior of the can has space at the top to accommodate a furnace lid. I will use bolts on the lid so it can be grabbed with tongs or pliers when hot.
Unless you request fewer or more... your furnace will have 2 ports for torch tips. I can add up to 4 total upon request.
The dimensions are as follows:
Overall height is 8 inches
Overall width is 6 1/2 inches
Gas ports are 3/4 inches, accommodates most torch tips (I use map gas)
Interior chamber is approximately 3 inches wide. You can easily use a crucible that is up to 2 scale inches wide.
This listing is for the furnace only, no accessories.
You will get the furnace with a heat lid and a can lid.
As I make these to order, there will be slight differences. For example, slightly different color material, different size heat lid, different height and or placement of gas ports... etc.
This is not a production line manufacturing plant item, lol. It will look homemade... but will work flawlessly.
Once again, this is the furnace only... you will need gas, torch tips, crucible, Tongs, flux, safety gear, etc...
