COLL DE DAMA BORDISSOTENCA
is a Spanish Variety from M.P Collection.
The fig tree is planted described in Son Mut Nou, although very young to develop specific descriptors reliably. Mother fig tree planted in sa Torre de Montornes, Sineu, where it originated.
The tree has a good development and remarkably vigorous. The crown is rounded and dense foliage, has a short growth, slightly marked annual outbreaks and medium harvest period.
Figs are more urceolados that priformes, medium, greenish yellow color, symmetrical in form but variable in size, with red flesh, juicy, with almost no stalk, the skin is thin, medium rough. They have little easy to peel, easy peduncle abscission, low resistance to transport, medium resistance to rain and detachment. They are very similar to those Lancas ordissot but have a later maturing and not so tend to form ADOCS.
The leaves are lobed pentalobadas and a lesser proportion have serrated margins and have very little marked petiole acute angle.
The variety is native to Sineu, and called Coll de Dama Bordissotenca for its resemblance to each of the varieties that give it its name: Lady and ordissot coll.
