    AUTHENTIC SOAP BOX DERBY RACING HELMET 1955.
    The helmet will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail.
    A very nice estate sale find. This is an authentic Soap Box Derby racing helmet. This helmet is in good condition with normal marks and a few scratches. There is a sticker on the front of the helmet that says that it is from the 22nd ALL AMERICAN SOAP BOX DERBY.
    The soap box derby started in 1933 so that would make this one from the 1955 Derby. Has the original chin strap and sweat band .
    It is made from what looks like a hard molded cardboard ??
