Tough to find 1973 Manzanita Speedway Western World Championship Preliminary Night program with Jan Opperman and Jerry McClung on the cover.  Simple eight-page program (including covers) that featured the entry list along with spaces to write in the qualifying times and heat races.  Also includes the Western World point system.   Among the superstars on the entry list you will find Rick Ferkel, Bobby Allen, Eddie Leavitt, Clark Templeman, Lealand McSpadden, Walt Kennedy, Jerry McClung, Le Roy Van Conett, Larry Clark, Billy Wilkerson, Steve Howard, James McElreath, Dean Thompson, Danny McKnight, Ron Shuman, Jan Opperman, Rick Goudy, Ralph Parkinson, Hooker Hood, Dave Culp and more. These programs are much harder to find than the final nights programs for the Western World as the races preliminaries were run during the week in front of much smaller crowds.
