Geraniums are contraindicated by hot air from heating devices, so if the pot with the plant is on the windowsill, then it should be quite wide so that the air flow does not touch the plant. Watering is necessary 1 time every two days in the warm season and 1 time every three to four days in autumn and winter.
Geranium is responsive to fertilizing. For the correct formation of green mass and abundant flowering, it is important to know the rules of fertilization. During the growth of the bush, complex preparations in liquid form with nitrogen are needed. You need to apply fertilizer 1 time every two weeks. prepare a container for sowing, fill it with a ready–made mixture of earth - 2 parts and 1 part each of peat and sand;
place geranium seeds 5 cm apart and sprinkle with a thin layer of soil;
water the ground from a spray bottle and cover with polyethylene.
After the emergence of seedlings – in one and a half to two weeks, the polyethylene can be removed. You can plant seedlings when they have a couple of real leaves on them.
It is important to know that geranium is considered a moderately poisonous plant, so all work on transplanting should be carried out with gloves, and pets and children should not be allowed to the plant!
