PLEASE CONTACT ME BEFORE LEAVING BAD FEEDBACK AND I WILL TRY TO FIX IT,I CAN'T FIX IT IF YOU WON'T LET ME,
I AM 78 YEARS OLD AND SOMETIMES I WILL MAKE A MISTAKE.
These have a somewhat high level of difficulty, if you've never started seeds this tiny before. But if you follow germination instructions below and are patient you should be in good shape! I also recommend setting some seeds aside in case you need a do over. There's little room for error with seeds this tiny!*
Seeds this small usually don't have a long shelf life so I'm continuously harvesting fresh seeds, and I discard them after 4 weeks. Guaranteeing you'll never receive seeds older than 4 weeks! Ensuring, if propagated in good conditions, you'll have a great germination rate. Don't waste your time buying seeds, that are who knows how old, from other sellers and ending up with one or two ratty little plants! 😊

responds to touch much like the Mimosa Pudica Plant, but looks much cooler! Like a Jurassic palm tree. When touched the leave sequentially fold neatly together. If tapped again the whole leaf will dropped down, often causing neighboring leaves to do the same.
GERMINATION INSTRUCTIONS:
Soaking seeds in tepid water for an hour or so is recommended. Plant on top of soil, do not bury (like AT ALL, do not put ANY amount of soil on top of seeds, not even a little bit, it will NOT work). Any normal potting soil mix will work. However putting a thin layer of peat moss on top of potting mix just to create a super even surface for the seeds to sit on will prevent them from sinking down into soil. Lightly tamp them to the soil, just to ensure there's good contact. Keep moist. Mist seeds, don't use a water can, it's likely to displace them and you're more likely to over water. Cover pot/tray with Saran wrap. Place pot/tray in a warm, bright but indirect light. I try not to open it up until it's time to transplant. If you have a germination mat definitely use it. It can cut germination time from 6-8 weeks down to 1-2 weeks. They do tend to be fairly spaced out, as in they most likely won't all start at once. You'll have some early ones and you'll have some stragglers. So don't give up on any too early! They say seeds can take up to 8 weeks to germinate. However in my experience, with ideal conditions, they start to root at around 1-2 weeks. Keep in mind that even after they put out a radicle root it's going to be another couple weeks before they start to stand up. It's not like planting sunflowers or corn. They are going to take they're sweet time to actually get going because they are so tiny!
The good news is that once the plant is established it's actually very easy to care for (if kept in HIGH humidity). Can be kept indoors or out. Doesn't need a ton of light and does well at room temp. These plants are usually sold as terrarium/vivarium plants. So they'll thrive in high humidity, low light. If kept in low light they tend to get taller, and if kept in brighter light they stay much much shorter but get much wider.
They get small delicate pink flowers, that last a few days. Flowers do not have to be cross pollinated. When the seed pod is ripe it opens up and the seeds spring out one at a time over several hours.
They can last several years if kept happy, and I've heard of them getting as tall as 14 inches!
